South Huron Community Fund Grants Now Open For Applicants
Media Release – February 5, 2025
The South Huron Community Fund is now accepting applications, offering an exciting opportunity to support projects that strengthen and enhance our vibrant community.
“We are stronger when we support local. By donating to local programming, we ensure that diverse activities supporting children, families, and individuals continue,” says Laura Goulding, Chair of the South Huron Advisory Committee. “I am thrilled to work with a dynamic group of local representatives from all parts of South Huron to distribute grants that enhance our community. As a community committee, we look forward to making a difference with your support.”

About the South Huron Community Fund (SHCF)
This group of funds was established in 2020, and continues to grow through the generosity of the South Huron Municipal Council, Family Funds, and personal donations. The SHCF provides small grants to organizations delivering programs, events, and activities that benefit the residents of South Huron.

In the Spring of 2024, the SHCF was able to support 8 organizations and 3 scholarships with $15,731 of funds.

Exeter Pentecostal Tabernacle ~ Noah’s Ark Community Connections Creations program received $750
Exeter Skating Club ~ Partner: Big Brothers Big Sisters of SH ~ Skating Bursaries for Client Families of
