Barb is a lifelong resident of South Huron and is dedicated to honouring and promoting the area as a great place to live, work, play, and raise a family, as she has done. She believes volunteering and participating in events and on committees in your community only increases its vitality and is a cornerstone belief on this journey we call life. Volunteering is also a great deal of fun; new friendships are made, nurtured, and lead to a healthier environment for all. Whether through coaching, church activities, rummage sales, joining local committees, or cheering from the sidelines, she believes in getting involved. We lead by example, and she is glad to see the next generation of her family following in the Down family tradition of giving back to their community. In donating the use of her time, talents, and finances, she is committed to the future of South Huron and the generations to come.
