Following a career in the social services sector in Halton, Tanja retired to Bayfield in 2019 alongside her husband, Gary. Through her professional background, Tanja developed a strong appreciation for the critical role non-profit organizations play in enriching community well-being. An active community advocate, she has volunteered with Christmas in Bayfield and the Bluewater Golf Course and continues to lend her support to the Sunset Community Foundation alongside local initiatives across the Village of Bayfield. Outside of her community work, Tanja is an avid golfer and enjoys walking her Sheltie, Oliver.
