Charlene Masschelein grew up on a farm in Parkhill and is the eldest of four siblings. She is very proud of the entrepreneurial spirit in her family. Her parents and brother own and operate West Corner Farms Ltd in the North Middlesex community. Her youngest sister owns and operates Metanoia Boutique on Main Streets in Grand Bend and the Village of Bayfield. Charlene enjoys cycling with the Grand Bend Bike Club and spoiling her niece and nephew.
Charlene is a Chartered Public Accountant and a Finance Manager for Johnson & Johnson, where she has worked for the past ten years. Now able to work from home, she relocated from the GTA to a brand new home in Grand Bend in October 2019.
Charlene joined the Board in May 2020 and in May 2023 she was voted in as SCF‘s new Chair of the Board of Directors for the next three years.
Charlene is passionate about community development and believes that the Foundation can play a vital role in making our local communities strong and sustainable.
